Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Three (3) years of combined experience in Supply Chain and/or Distribution Center experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- One (1) year of Data Analysis and Visualization experience: Proficiency in tools like Excel, Access, Power BI, SQL, etc.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop data models to support supply chain operations, including inventory management, demand forecasting, and logistics.
- Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can improve supply chain efficiency.
- Work closely with supply chain managers, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data models meet business needs.
- Integrate data from various sources, including ERP systems, databases, and external data providers, to create comprehensive data models.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide real-time insights into supply chain performance.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within the supply chain through data analysis and modeling.
- Create and maintain documentation for data models, processes, and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Operations Management, Business Administration, or similar business degree from an accredited university
- Minimum (2) years of using WMS Planning, DCIS Middle Layer, and warehouse management systems in a private, public, government or military environment
- Experience with Microsoft Access, MSSQL, JDA/DLx, WMS Planning, DCIS Configuration, COMS, PowerBI, BOXI, and MOCA capabilities.
- Statistical Modeling: Knowledge of statistical methods and software such as R, SAS, or SPSS.
- Programming Languages: Skills in Python, SQL, or other relevant languages.
- ERP Systems: Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other enterprise resource planning systems.
- Optimization Techniques: Familiarity with linear programming, simulation, and other optimization methods.
- Experience working with and developing applications based on large data models
- Supply Chain Management: Understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, and operations.
- Data Analysis and Visualization: Proficiency in tools like Excel, Access, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, etc.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
