Requirements
- Student needs to be working toward an engineering degree (electrical preferred)
- Requires some technical and analytical background and experience
- Software experience should include Microsoft Office Suite and technical drawings programs such as Visio, CAD (not required)
- Student must have transportation to the assigned office locations to be determined
Responsibilities
- Assist system engineers and supervisors with either routine or special projects
- Review data and assist with designs to improve the distribution system
- Review service outages, project layouts, circuit configurations, new remote device sensing/control technology, underground (URD) cable rebuilds, and equipment inspection data
- Develop technical presentations and project plans
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CAD (not required)
