Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the retail or convenience store industry.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team of sales representatives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and drive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within the district as needed.
Responsibilities
- Deliver against quarterly sales objectives through the execution of perfect store principles.
- Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales representatives, fostering a culture of motivation, accountability, and high performance.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, ride-alongs, and group training sessions to enhance the skills and performance of sales reps.
- Set clear sales targets and KPIs for representatives. Regularly review performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with the distributor and retailer headquarter teams to implement effective sales strategies that align with district goals and market demands.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities, sharing insights with the team to optimize sales approaches.
- Support sales reps in building and maintaining strong relationships with store owners and key customers to drive partnership.
