Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen and possess an active DoD Secret level clearance.
- Minimum five (5) years’ relevant experience with Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) Coordination.
- AA or 2 year technical degree in business or related field, five (5) years of military service may be substituted for education requirement.
- Experience and training on Army Property Book Management and respective Army Regulations.
- Significant experience with US Army Accountable Property Systems of Record (APSR) specifically Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).
- This position requires familiarity with US Army tactical formation in support of the US Army Campaign Plan.
- Knowledge of maintaining inventories and experience forecasting high distribution of systems fielded to many different types of tactical unit formations and platforms.
- Proficiency with computer applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and databases.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Travel may be required, up to 20% as needed to meet mission requirements.
Responsibilities
- Performs property management tasks associated with the Property Book Office.
- Updating hand receipts, turn in’s, and transfers.
- Maintain MFIPS and SETA GFE Equipment into DPAS.
- Continue monitoring email.
- Keeping DPAS Audit ready.
- Coordinates and assists with all TR procurement actions as needed.
- Ensures that all property accountability discrepancies are properly reconciled and that property books are properly maintained.
