Our challenge
We are seeking a Senior Dynamics 365 Engineer to tackle the complexities of one of the largest data warehouse environments. As part of our dynamic team, candidate will face the challenge of developing scalable and innovative analytical solutions that efficiently process, and store terabytes of low latency structured and unstructured data. Additional Information
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Weehawken, NJ is $130k – $140k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications to fulfil specific business needs.
- Leverage hands-on experience with CRM, sales, and marketing modules to enhance application functionalities.
- Independently develop software and design solutions that satisfy customer requirements, considering both performance and availability.
- Partner with engineering product managers and principal software engineers to translate business requirements into detailed technical designs.
- Monitor and tune the performance of products and services, addressing any availability issues in production environments.
- Estimate software development efforts, identifying dependent teams and developing code to meet complex requirements.
- Adopt and contribute to engineering best practices, including the definition of the engineering lifecycle and quality standards.
Requirements:
You are:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development, specifically with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Proficient in user management, role assignment, and security configuration within Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.
- Ability to configure and customize Dynamics 365 applications to meet business requirements, including creating custom entities, workflows, Power Automate flows, and business rules.
- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and integration with other Microsoft services.
- Proficient in C#, .NET, JavaScript, and SQL, with experience in web services (REST/SOAP).
- Solid understanding of Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, and deployment using managed solutions.
- Experience with Power Platform tools, including Power Apps (both model-driven and canvas apps), Power Automate, and PCF controls.
- Knowledge of Azure and cloud-based services is advantageous, specifically with Azure Functions.
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Familiarity with HTTP and REST architecture.
It would be great if you also had:
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Azure technologies.
- Knowledge of data analytics tools or languages (e.g., Power BI, Python) to enhance data-driven decision-making processes.
- Previous experience with largescale Dynamics 365 implementations in complex environments.
