Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Management
- Strong financial accounting knowledge and proficiency
- Possess strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of Domestic and International financials; Middle/Back or Front Office Operations, Trade lifecycle mechanics, Fund Accounting and Administration, Custody/Accounting systems, Investment Operations, etc.
- Ability to work with individuals at all levels in the organization and contribute to the strategic direction of the firm and the team
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Identifying any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity and must report and/or escalate in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines detailed in relevant operating procedures
- Perform work independently and analyzes and recommends solutions to complex and non-routine issues and special projects
- Focus of job on performing complex tasks and providing business and technical expertise in support of multiple clients
- Processing the administrative instructions received
- Following up with client for instructions authorization and ensuring processes are made timely
- Maintaining standard filing of instructions package and reports
- Filling in the daily checklist accordingly with the activities performed
- Ensuring that the instructions received are compliant with State Street policy
- Analyzing the instructions exceptions and act accordingly to resolve with the responsible parties in a timely manner
- Monitoring exceptions resolutions and solicit resolutions details to the responsible parties
- Flexibility in working outside of your responsibilities as required and areas of expertise
- Ensure all processes are in line with the SLA and escalate if necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- STEM related degree
- Bloomberg experience
- Knowledge of State Street software applications and a broad knowledge of bank products and services
- Some consumer and commercial bank lending experience
