Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a professional program planning or project scheduling role
  • Experience with industry-standard scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project
  • Experience with Critical Path Analysis
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel formulas and pivot tables
  • Ability to perform detailed schedule analysis and variance reporting
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

  • Drive EVM program planning and scheduling operations to develop, update, maintain, and analyze the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Collaborate directly with the Program Cost Analyst and work closely with a variety of project management personnel to ensure schedule alignment with project milestones and objectives
  • Perform schedule analysis to identify and mitigate risks
  • Instill appropriate change management and control
  • Prepare EVM metrics and status reports
  • Conduct regular schedule reviews
  • Validate schedule data integration
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards for project scheduling
  • Support program startup and planning activities
  • Facilitate the monthly Business Rhythm throughout the execution lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large-scale projects in industries such as defense, aerospace, or IT
  • Experience on a program with EIA-748 Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements and IMS and CPR, IPMR, or IPMDAR Deliverables
  • Experience with DCMA 14-Point and DCMA EV Compliance Metrics (DECM)
  • Experience with Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs)
  • Experience running and reporting on Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs)
  • Experience with Agile Methodology and Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFARS)
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders
  • Possession of excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), or EVM Certification
