Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical major or related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably within the Aerospace or Telecommunications fields
- Expertise using Deltek Cobra, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, among other EV tools
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey products, deliverables, analyses, and/or issues clearly and confidently, and recognize and adapt to different communication techniques
- Ability to analyze a situation or problem, generate effective solutions, and see those solutions through to completion
- Creativity and resourcefulness needed to make reliable decisions and determine methods on new assignments
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment by handling multiple tasks and managing shifting priorities
- Proactive in sharing knowledge with others
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain the program’s EVM system, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
- Develop, maintain, and analyze performance measurement baselines (PMB) using Deltek Cobra to track cost, schedule, and technical progress
- Oversee monthly EVM reporting and variance analysis to ensure accurate representation of program performance
- Collaborate with Control Account Managers (CAM) and PMs to establish budget and update forecast targets
- Lead the process of importing schedule and resource data into the cost tool
- Leverage Deltek Cobra to integrate and validate actual cost data from various sources, ensuring consistency and accuracy in financial tracking
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure timely data entry and reconciliation
- Maintain cost integrity by ensuring proper alignment of actuals with budgeted and forecasted costs
- Work independently to uncover flaws, problems, risks in data or projects by asking strategic questions
- Conduct data quality, validation, and DCMA EV Compliance Metric (DECM) checks
- Directly support variance analysis reporting and improve upon variance analysis process
- Establish appropriate change management and control principles
- Mentor and train team members on the operations and tools of EVM
