Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Basic understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with safety inspections and audits across the facility or worksite.
- Help maintain EHS documentation, including training records, safety data sheets (SDS), and inspection logs.
- Participate in incident investigations and help identify root causes and corrective actions.
- Support the implementation of safety and environmental initiatives (e.g., recycling programs, PPE compliance, waste disposal).
- Attend and assist with safety meetings and toolbox talks.
- Conduct research on regulatory changes and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of EHS training materials and signage.
- Perform data entry and reporting for key safety and environmental metrics.
Preferred Qualifications
