Electrical Design & PCB Layout Supervisor

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field with minimum 5 years of experience or associate degree in electronic technology or related field with minimum 8 years of experience
Minimum of 4 years of experience in leading PCB designers and drafters
Knowledge and experience in PCB layout and manufacturing
Good interpersonal skills for working with engineers and technicians
Experience with Altium Designer and AutoCAD
Familiarity with IPC 2221, IPC 2222, and IPC 2152 a plus

Leading the PCB layout group and support operations
Providing direction, planning, mentoring, and leading a team of 3 to 4 members of the group while also designing multilayer boards
Supervising and mentoring PCB layout designers in designing multilayer and split-plane PCBs using Altium Designer
Supervising and mentoring PCB layout designers in translating and updating existing designs from OrCAD into Altium
Supervising and mentoring PCB layout designers in providing information to assist with procurement, fabrication, assembly, installation, and other aspects of the completed design
Designing and assisting in procurement of PCBs
Maintaining and updating related files and databases; electronically stores archives of drawings
Collaborating with other specialists to coordinate the modification and repair of the record keeping system and to propose new, improved or upgraded systems
Selecting and applying appropriate IPC design standards
Abiding by and being responsible for performing all duties in accordance with all environmental, health and safety regulations and practices pertinent to this position
