Requirements

  • Undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials Engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel
  • Legal Authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role

Responsibilities

  • Support reliability engineering with hand-on product assessment and evaluations of electric motors
  • Support materials engineering group through component qualification testing and the construction/teardown of refrigeration test vessels used for extraction testing
  • Support the troubleshooting of Copeland test systems. This includes, but not limited to reviewing electrical schematics, building PCB controller boards, and/or the use of precise electrical equipment used for our dynamometers
  • Support all engineering lab work order requests

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2.75 Cumulative GPA
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems
  • Understanding of basic electric machines (induction and BPM motors)
  • Operating instrumentations and meters using test procedures and user manuals
