Requirements

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree or other 2 year post high school training with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Electrical/electronic evaluation/troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Power point, etc.)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate failed electrical assemblies, products, components, and software – using test and measurement equipment to determine the root cause of failure down to the component level – with strong emphasis on evaluation hands-on experience.
  • Strong Focus on troubleshooting Power Supplies
  • Electronic troubleshooting through technical experience and knowledge – NOT through the use of pre-written step-by-step procedures
  • Strong sense of ownership and self-driven to meet or exceed deliverable expectations.
  • Work with senior Electrical Engineering, test technicians, and product Quality Assurance towards evaluating, repairing, and moving failed assemblies through established Repair & Return processes.
  • Read and interpret Assembly Drawings and Schematics
  • Maintain control of all Electro-static Sensitive Device (ESD) precautions and processes – ensuring full compliance to established ESD processes.
  • Support the culture of Continuous Process Improvements (CPI) Projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with use of test and evaluation measurement equipment, including (but not limited to): DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Supplies, and RF equipment, etc.
  • Electrical Test Technical degree
  • Experience in troubleshooting Power Supplies and RF
  • DoD experience
