Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Prefer 5 years relative industrial electrician experience
- Good communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting a plus
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shift
Responsibilities
- General repairs to all types of A.C. and D.C. motors, controls, switch gear
- Installing conduit
- Pulling wire
- Building and wiring panel boards
- Using all types of electrical testing equipment
- Repairing all digital and analog control equipment
- Locking out electrical circuits as requested
- Reading and following wiring diagrams and schematics and equipment manuals when repairing or connecting up any and all types of electrical switch gear and controls
Preferred Qualifications
- Good coordination
- Understand and carry out all job instructions
- Read and understand prints and sketches
- Read and understand job safety reviews
- Know electrical wiring codes
- Know hand signals for crane
- Must be able to work well with others
