Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- Willing and able to travel up to 25% domestically
- Level 1: Bachelors degree and experience acquired through technical education
- Level 2: 2+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR Masters degree and combination of technical education and work-related experience
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.
- An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Responsibilities
- Assists in developing and documenting requirements for various communication, sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic systems and components.
- Performs basic computational electromagnetic (CEM) analysis to predict component performance to established requirements.
- Conducts simple tests to validate performance of designs to requirements. Collects data on supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance to requirements.
- Provides support to products throughout their lifecycle.
- Supports project management by gathering project status data.
- Gathers information to support development of sections of proposals to support development of new business.
- Supports programs and functions site-wide with the interpretation, implementation, adherence to and compliance of the Boeing St. Louis site’s ESD Process Specification requirements.
- Assist production programs in the resolution of ESD questions, concerns and issues.
- Works under close supervision.

- Ability to balance competing priorities
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience or education with electromagnetic theory and advanced mathematics necessary to perform or conduct electromagnetic analysis, design, modeling, and testing
- Knowledge of associated MIL Standards for E3
- Experience in Aerospace & Defense Industry and/or the military
- Engineering experience with EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility), EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) or E3 (Electromagnetic Environmental Effects)
- Engineering experience with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge)
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Demonstrated a strong work ethic and sense of urgency for completing assigned work with a history of meeting commitments
- Team player, able to work in a collaborative environment
- Have or have held an active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months or can obtain
