Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Employee Relations, including leading investigations related to allegations of discrimination, harassment and retaliation.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, manage, and track key ER data to understand trends and develop proactive solutions.
- Review processes through a continuous improvement lens to streamline and optimize our work and allow us to scale globally.
- Advise and counsel managers on disciplinary issues, including misconduct, policy practice violations, corrective actions, and terminations.
- Investigate, assess, and recommend resolutions to employee relations issues.
- Develop and present appropriate training on HR and employee relations topics.
- Identify risk areas and proactive work needed to ensure a positive employee experience.
- Inspire passion, inject change, and help drive the Employee Relations brand within LinkedIn.
- Contribute to Global Employee Relations projects and ad hoc cross-functional related projects.
- Champion LinkedIn’s culture and values and support efforts to foster a culture of belonging to help the Employee Relations team and our partners have fun, achieve their goals, and develop their skill sets.
- Lead with an agile mindset, focus on problem-solving through creative solutions, and thrive in an environment where growth and change are steady constants.
- Bring leadership and innovation to improve, consolidate, and streamline operations and processes that support the Employee Relations function.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with US employment law
- Experience in hyper-growth and/or emerging businesses as well as large scale, complex organizations
- Experience in matrixed, global environment; deep employee relations experience and resilience to navigate ambiguous situations
- Ability to manage situations that are time sensitive and highly confidential
- Critical thinker able to manage multiple complex issues and prioritize projects concurrently
- Excellent analytical skills
- Outstanding empathy, interpersonal and listening skills
- Ability to flex and be successful in both the tactical and strategic elements of the role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with a familiarity of HR Information Systems
