Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in energy efficiency, HVAC systems, or building performance.
- Strong understanding of building science, HVAC systems, Construction Management, and Energy conservation.
- Proficiency in energy modeling software and tools is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate project requirements and recommend energy-efficient solutions using Aeroseal products and technologies.
- Collaborate with clients to design and implement customized applications for HVAC and building envelope sealing.
- Conduct on-site assessments to diagnose energy inefficiencies and develop improvement strategies.
- Provide technical support and training to contractors, project managers, and end-users.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance to ensure successful deployments.
- Analyze project outcomes to quantify energy savings and performance improvements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, codes, and standards related to energy efficiency and building systems.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Measurement and verification is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with system testing and commissioning is preferred.
- Mechanical Engineering License (PE) is preferred.
