Job Summary

Job Description

DUTIES:                               Contribute to a team responsible for designing and developing new software and web applications in an Agile development environment using Java, Python, and SoapUI; performing Behavior Driven Development using Gherkin within Cucumber framework; work with APIs; store and manage API specifications, documentation, and workflow using Postman; store and retrieve data using PostgreSQL; validate web applications and platforms using Selenium; execute performance and load testing using JMeter; work with Oracle SQL Developer and Elasticsearch; develop and test code using Eclipse; analyze code using Intellij; support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; document all development activity; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; and work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS:             Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, any Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience developing software in an Agile development environment using Java, Python, and SoapUI; performing Behavior Driven Development using Gherkin within Cucumber framework; working with APIs; storing and managing API specifications, documentation, and workflow using Postman; storing and retrieving data using PostgreSQL; validating web applications and platforms using Selenium; executing performance and load testing using JMeter; working with Oracle SQL Developer; of which one (1) year includes working with Elasticsearch; developing and testing code using Eclipse; and analyzing code using Intellij.

SALARY:                              $94,578.00 to $135,000.00 per year

Compensation

Base Pay: $94,578.00

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
