Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study.
- Able to work on-site in cleanroom.
Responsibilities
- Developing improvements to manufacturing processes and modifications to production process flows to improve yield, quality, cost, and cycle time.
- Root cause investigation of discrepant material and implementation of quality improvement programs.
- Troubleshooting process shifts and applying SPC fundamentals to identify areas for improvement.
- Optimizing process to lower cost, maximize output, and match performance across tools.
- Qualifying new equipment, new raw materials, and new consumable parts.
- Monitoring process and equipment to improve quality.
- Analyzing cycle time and equipment overall operational efficiency.
- Writing operating procedures and specifications.
- Partnering with manufacturing operations to continuously improve factory performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience, with preference for wet etch toolsets (JST, TEL, SCP linear sinks) and chemistries (sulfuric, SC1/SC2, HF, phosphoric).
- Strong problem solving skills with an emphasis on model-based problem solving.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated technical leadership skills and ability to productively engage with individuals from a range of backgrounds.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently with a high degree of ownership.
- Flexibility to learn new systems and processes.
- Able to adapt to frequently changing environment.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic who will thrive in a dynamic 24/7 operation.
