Requirements
- Knowledge of utility power systems is preferred.
- Ability to independently develop, present and execute new projects through collaborations with other departments.
- Familiarity with power related software is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 3 (three) years related experience is required. Electrical Engineering or Substation experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the overall quality assurance processes that evaluates all aspects of the project life-cycle.
- Review and evaluate the technical merit of solutions to specific transmission and distributions needs.
- Support competency development in emerging transmission competitive environment as it relates to project solution development.
- Support project quality assurance processes that evaluates all aspect of the project life-cycle.
- Coordinate with transmission stakeholders to establish and implement QA/QC into processes and projects.
- Liaison between engineering, finance, project management, siting, transmission and distribution operations to maximize efficiency of the project life cycle process.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of utility power systems is preferred.
