Requirements
- Associate degree and/or coursework towards a BS degree in mechanical engineering or another related field.
- In lieu of a degree, a combination of college credits, professional certification, formalized training, or education, and directly related work experience may be considered.
- Four years of progressive experience with specialized knowledge of maintenance and logistic support activities involving HE systems maintenance.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must possess a valid state Motor Vehicle Drivers’ License.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.
- Applicants must be able to pass an FBI Background investigation with no criminal, civil, or security violations.
- Must be able to obtain a work visa and an Alien Employment Permit for the Philippines.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance actions that follows the contract Statement of Work and adheres to Marine Corps policy and procedures.
- Perform maintenance actions involving repairing, adjusting, servicing, and storing HE equipment and systems.
- Support equipment readiness, maintenance shop organization, control of maintenance assets and provide advice on all matters relating to HE systems maintenance. Review invoices and requisitions to plan work activities.
- Maintain proficiency in all maintenance functions.
- Inventory repair parts and equipment and requisition replacement stock.
- Provide requisitions for equipment, materials, and supplies.
- Comply with personnel and administrative policies, procedures, and government regulations.
- Comply with established safety regulations, and method and procedures for handling and storing various equipment and materials.
- Comply with MCPP-PHIL ISO policies and procedures, work specifications, and time schedules.
- Interpret specifications, drawings, work orders, technical instructions, and layouts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- USMC MOS 1341.
- Understanding of Marine Corps policies, regulations, and orders.
- Industry Certification.
- Working knowledge of military storage procedures.
- Expert knowledge of general maintenance procedures for military tactical equipment and supplies.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.
