Requirements
- Students pursuing Engineering degree – Level 1 to Level 4 from Canadian University (preferably in Ontario)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and documentation
- Knowledge of common manufacturing processes, shop tolerances and industry standards
- Proficiency with software programs such as MS office, AutoCAD, Pro-E, MathCAD, Java, Python, Fortran, UNIX and Microsoft OS
Responsibilities
- Development and testing on design and Automation tools
- Data organization and simplification of technical reports (Services and Parts)
- Digitization and organization of Physical records
- Perform preliminary design calculations using in-house design software, and hand calculations.
- Improve Services and Parts quotes based on historical data analytics
- Deliver engineering study reports based on analyses and calculations using a wide variety of design and analytical tools
- Develop 3-D models, drawings and BOM for smaller subcomponents of Large Electric machines based on guidance from other team members
- Provide technical support to engineering, sourcing, Parts, field services and product services personnel
