Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an engineering leadership role, responsible for people management, training, development and performance evaluations.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in engineering for manufacturability, ideally in an aerospace or defense environment.
- Knowledge of and involvement in government bids and proposal, selection process.
- Experience providing technical solutions to customers.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for initial product design through final delivery for new and existing products.
- Manage, coach, and lead multi-disciplined work teams. Provide individualized team member training and career development support that is aligned with the company’s business strategy and program requirements.
- Support BD and the Program Management Office (PMO) by providing technical inputs and quotes during the proposal process.
- Conduct personnel interviews and reviews as required.
- Partner with BD, Operations, PMO, Quality and other functional groups to support program execution and delivery of all products and assemblies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Eligible to obtain US security clearance to Secret level.
- Driver’s license.
- Travel to alternative locations in the US and abroad to undertake occasional off-site activities is required.
