Requirements
- Direct experience managing a hybrid team of in-person and remote engineers
- Well versed in the latest adversary techniques, attack lifecycle, and modern detection as code techniques
- Preference for risk driven, scalable security approaches over policy based mandates
- Meticulous and responsive cross-team communicator and program leader
- Empathetic leader who cultivates a culture of psychological safety and inclusion
- Ability to coach, mentor, develop and inspire a talented and diverse team across seniority levels
- Experience working with a broad set of technologies
- Confidence in working with frontline teammates, executives, and third party organizations to inform and coordinate collaborative efforts
- Ability to drive success with minimal process and a heavy emphasis on individual responsibility
Responsibilities
- Drive the strategy for detection engineering investments
- Contribute to the broader Detection & Response organization’s larger strategy for reactive security and response readiness
