Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining visually stunning and robust applications using React Native, Swift, and Kotlin at scale.
- Previous experience managing and mentoring engineering teams, including distributed teams across multiple geographies.
- Design and implement a scalable, flexible, and secure mobile application architecture for both iOS and Android, using the latest development tools and best practices.
- Lead the evaluation and adoption of cross-platform technologies, ensuring high performance and maintainability across mobile devices.
- Experience working with microservices architectures, including development with Node.js/TypeScript for backend services.
- Proficiency in NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and expertise in REST API design and implementation.
- Experience with AAD and a strong understanding of OIDC authentication flows, with the ability to support evolving IAM solutions like Gravitee.
- Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation, optimizing deployment pipelines, and managing mobile app releases to the App Store and Google Play.
- Deep knowledge of mobile performance tuning, memory management, and battery efficiency for large-scale applications.
- Strong advocate for test-driven development, implementing unit, UI, and integration tests using frameworks like WebdriverIO, Appium, SauceLabs.
- An empathetic communicator adept at working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear insights and thoughtful solutions in both written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain a high-performing, cross-platform mobile application using React Native to deliver seamless, device-agnostic experiences.
- Act as a player-coach, leading development efforts by making key architectural and technical decisions while actively contributing to the codebase.
- Manage and mentor a globally distributed team, fostering collaboration between engineers in the U.S. and India, and ensuring alignment on technical vision and execution.
- Drive cross-platform technology decisions, optimizing for scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Integrate and optimize Azure services, ensuring cloud-connected mobile solutions that power real-time shipment tracking, inventory management, predictive analytics, and edge computing.
- Implement and oversee security best practices, including robust authentication solutions using Azure Active Directory (AAD) and Gravitee with OIDC.
- Ensure top-tier application performance, security, and compliance, continuously improving reliability and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend teams to align technical execution with business goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- A strong understanding of supply chain operations, with a history of designing mobile solutions that boost efficiency and reduce costs.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage IoT or edge computing technologies, particularly within the supply chain and logistics arena.
- Knowledge of GenAI, LLM-oriented UI (Agentic design), and familiarity with GenAI-driven development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
