Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Strong proficiency and experience with SaaS Application Engineering and ownership of Enterprise IT applications and tools
- Proven ability working with Microsoft 365 technologies, products, and concepts including but not limited to – Office 365 Identity Management, OneDrive, Power Automate, Power Apps, Defender, etc.
- Working knowledge on Microsoft 365 E5 implementation and features including advanced security, compliance, and analytics capabilities.
- Experience with SSO best practices with SaaS application integrations.
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and compliance standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation and occasional after-hours work for maintenance or emergencies.
- Must be willing to travel to office sites on a needs basis.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of our Microsoft solution, continuously researching and implementing new features to ensure optimal performance and fit for the organization.
- Stay up to date with new features released by Microsoft and evaluate their relevance, feasibility, and benefits for the organization.
- Own and manage all aspects of email services, including MTA (Mail Transfer Agent), DKIM, DMARC, SMTP, and related services to ensure seamless email delivery.
- Ensure proper SMTP mail flow is maintained in AWS and address any related issues.
- Own the management, configuration, and optimization of services within Microsoft Azure, including enterprise applications, ensuring they are properly tuned to meet organizational needs.
- Manage Microsoft 365 groups, distribution lists, and security group creation processes, both manual and automated, ensuring proper workflows are in place.
- Collaborate with teams to manage identity provisioning and security groups, evaluate and improve group creation processes, and minimize manual intervention using automation tools.
- Leverage Power Automate to automate group management workflows, including creating distribution lists from group members and continuously improving the process.
- Leverage Defender to deploy various security components for added threat protection.
