Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in health care sales
- 5+ years of quota achieving success selling enterprise software and technology
- Deep experience and success penetrating National and large Regional Payers in the US
- Strong sense of urgency, with the drive and knowledge to navigate multi-level relationships with complex customers
- Deep understanding of needs-based selling strategies and ability to uncover underlying customer objections and concerns
- Ability to think strategically and create plans unique to a prospect given their situation in the marketplace and business issues
- Strong analytical thinker with the ability to clearly articulate a value proposition that resonates with a prospect organization and its buyers
- Thorough understanding of the consultative, customer-focused approach to the sales process
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry conferences, events and internal training/meetings
Responsibilities
- Lead full sales cycle
- Generate sustained pipeline growth in line with profiles defined by the subject matter experts
- Identify opportunities; leverage subject matter experts to understand synergies between customer needs and SS&C’s solutions
- Work with subject matter experts to deliver a solution across SS&C’s portfolio of capability (technology and services)
- Carry out demo(s), gather customer data and liaise with internal stakeholders to create presentation decks, materials, proposals and pricing, client reference introductions, executive leadership introductions, etc.
- Manage relationship between customer and internal stakeholders
- Close deals and maintain relationship for growth
- Collaborate with SS&C enterprise to identify ways to expand client partnerships across all business segments (6 total)
- Developing contact database, relationship plans, and account development plans
- Manage and grow a pipeline of 4-5 times to successfully achieve and exceed quota expectations

- Extensive rolodex and connections in the industry preferred
- Relationships with C-Suite in large, key health plan
