Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering (Required)
- 4-7 years Experience in enterprise sourcing, particularly in marketing, creative and social services, digital marketing, sponsorships, print and tools. (Required)
- 4-7 years Experience in managing business requirements, project plans, project schedules, and associated project materials in a mid to large size company. (Required)
- 4-7 years Experience in strategic sourcing, including development and management of category strategies, RFP/RFI development, and contract negotiations. (Required)
- Negotiation- Expertise in negotiating terms and managing contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and cost savings. (Required)
- Strategic Sourcing- Ability to develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies that align with corporate objectives. (Required)
- Vendor Management- Skills in overseeing and enhancing supplier relationships, including conducting performance evaluations. (Required)
- Financial Analysis- Proficiency in conducting scenario analysis and optimizing spending to support budget management. (Required)
- Analytics- Strong analytical skills to assess procurement data and make informed decisions. (Required)
- Problem Solving- Ability to identify issues in the procurement process and develop effective solutions. (Required)
- Business Acumen- Understanding of market trends and business principles relevant to procurement and supply chain management. (Required)
- Microsoft Excel- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting in sourcing activities. (Required)
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Develops and executes strategic sourcing initiatives that align with corporate objectives and operational needs.
- Drafts, negotiates, project manage and executes contractual documents including but not limited to master service agreements, statements of work, letter agreements, and cloud services orders. Negotiates favorable terms and manages long-term contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Procures a wide range of goods and services, including marketing, creative and social services, digital marketing, sponsorships and events, print and tools.
- Conducts rigorous supplier performance evaluations and scenario analysis to inform purchasing decisions.
- Optimizes spending and contributes to significant cost savings through effective sourcing strategies.
- Foster collaborative relationships with multiple business owners and enhances supplier relationships by maintaining clear and effective communication.
- Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s/Advanced Degree Business Administration or Supply Chain Management (Preferred)
- Leadership Skills- in leading teams and projects, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. (Preferred)
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) Certification from APICS that demonstrates knowledge and skills in supply chain management, including procurement and sourcing strategies. (Preferred)
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) Certification from the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) that signifies expertise in supply management and procurement functions. (Preferred)
- Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM): Certification that indicates advanced knowledge in purchasing management, contract negotiation, and supplier analysis. (Preferred)
