Requirements
- Experience building worlds in a game engine
- Strong level art and design sensibilities, with a proven ability to collaborate with designers to create gameplay-ready spaces
- Proficiency in 3ds Max or Maya
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to thrive in a cross-disciplinary team environment
- Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing your time in a fast-paced production setting
- A creative problem-solver with a willingness to learn new tools and workflows
- A portfolio that demonstrates environmental storytelling, creativity, and technical craft
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and cross-discipline teams to create immersive spaces that support gameplay and narrative goals
- Build world layouts that blend organic and hard surface elements to craft visually striking environments
- Take full ownership of your space, from initial concept to a fully realized, living world
- Work hands-on in-engine to refine layouts, composition, and environmental storytelling
- Optimize and problem-solve within a proprietary pipeline to meet performance targets without compromising visual quality
- Work closely with level designers to ensure world layouts elevate the player experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of lighting, FX, or other related disciplines
- Experience with asset modeling
- Familiarity with Perforce, Jira, and ShotGrid
