Requirements
- Sufficient knowledge to operate equipment using proper procedures
- Ability to follow proper disposal procedures for hazardous and medical waste
- Ability to exert up to 25 pounds of force constantly, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work designated shift lengths, including night shifts or occasional irregular hours
Responsibilities
- Completes checklists accurately for shampooing, buffing, bed washing, furniture cleaning, and refrigerators
- Enters all work orders in the computer
- Reports all broken equipment and damage to hospital property to supervisor or charge person
- Provides a safe environment through the proper operation, care, and storage of equipment
- Follows all other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent in General Studies
- 1+ years of Housekeeping/Custodian Experience
