Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree within a science field is helpful – e.g. chemistry, analytical chemistry biochemistry, biotechnology or similar
- 4+ years experience in a similar position or experience as an end user
- Experience with the Agilent solutions is helpful
- Agilent provided instrument training is ideal
- Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving
Responsibilities
- Supporting two Colorado Agilent LDG/NASD labs with on-site installation, maintenance and repair of Agilent and multi-vendor systems solutions
- Installs and optimizes hardware/software/network products and configurations at internal Agilent sites
- Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems, relating most often to hardware
- Performs maintenance and repairs
- Performs instrument installation and qualification
- Documents activities and repairs in Computerized Maintenance Management Software
- Supports audits defending maintenance, qualification, and use of lab instruments
- Support equipment reliability by advising users on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance
- Deliver fully integrated solutions, including peripherals, communications, operating systems and applications software
- Mentor other service engineers and instrument users on Agilent instrument systems
Preferred Qualifications
