Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, business, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, corporate responsibility, or related fields, preferably in-house or at a consulting firm.
- Strong command of ESG reporting standards, frameworks and regulations such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, IFRS/ISSB, CSRD, EU Taxonomy.
- Experience working with ESG ratings and rankings such as ISS E&S, Sustainalytics, MSCI, and CDP.
- Exceptional project management, organizational, and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with Workiva ESG Module.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to translate complex ESG data into accessible language for diverse audiences.
- A collaborative mindset, capable of working cross-functionally with various teams.

Responsibilities
- Lead collection, analysis, and interpretation of ESG data to produce internal and external reports in compliance with standards and regulations.
- Conduct gap assessments and develop recommendations to support our reporting roadmap.
- Establish and manage an internal system & scorecard for cross-functional teams to provide accurate and timely updates on public goals and targets to enable enterprise-wide progress monitoring.
- Stay informed of evolving ESG-related regulations and standards, supporting compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Assist in the development and refinement of Pinterest’s go-forward ESG reporting strategy, aligned with company goals and evolving stakeholder expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a monitoring and evaluation plan, assess progress on current goals and commitments and provide insights.
- Support the biennial Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) process.
- Explore and evaluate projects and investments that strengthen the business value of our social and environmental programs.
- In partnership with sales, develop a system for tracking ESG, impact and sustainability influenced revenue.
- Respond to and track disclosure requests from advertisers, investors and ratings-based agencies such as MSCI, Sustainalytics, ISS E&S and CDP to showcase progress, position Pinterest as an industry leader in priority areas and expand access to capital, as applicable.
- Monitor trends in ESG reporting, emerging regulations, and best practices across the industry.
- Benchmark Pinterest’s ESG performance against industry competitors and leaders, identifying opportunities for advancement and developing issue and opportunity briefs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with tech or media companies.
