Requirements
- Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or in a similar role
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple events simultaneously and under pressure
- Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, catering, entertainment, and venue setup
- Communicate with clients to understand their event goals and requirements
- Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure contracts and ensure high-quality service
- Manage event budgets and ensure projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints
- Coordinate event timelines and schedules, ensuring smooth operations during the event
- Supervise event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure everything is executed as planned
- Handle guest lists, RSVPs, and other event-related administrative tasks
- Address any issues or emergencies that may arise during events
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred
