Requirements
- Previous experience in event coordination or project management
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management tools
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate a variety of events including corporate functions, private celebrations, and community gatherings
- Manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Source and negotiate with vendors (caterers, venues, decorators, etc.)
- Supervise event set-up, execution, and breakdown
- Resolve any issues that arise during the planning or execution process
- Maintain accurate records and provide post-event evaluations
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Communications, or a related field preferred
