Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 6+ years of experience in an HR operations or generalist role, with a strong understanding of core HR processes and best practices
  • Strong analytical, organizational and time-management skills; able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive and self-motivated
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Exhibits appropriate level of discretion with regard to confidential information
  • Strong judgment and ability to escalate issues when needed

  • Experience with utilizing and administering performance management systems

Responsibilities

  • Support the VP of Performance Management to oversee the firm’s performance review program and system, including but not limited to managing the logistics for performance review cycles, system testing, data integration, development of communication materials and end-to-end project management of cycle launches
  • Maintain system database and serve as a point of contact for employee and manager questions
  • Generate reports and provide performance analytics to various HCG and business stakeholders
  • Support the Head of Employee Relations (ER) to oversee the firm’s ER system, driving process improvements and ensuring the effective management of sensitive matters such as case documentation, accommodation requests, and high-confidentiality issues
  • Track ER case statuses and follow-up actions, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation
  • Coordinate ER initiatives, such as workplace investigations and training sessions
  • Create reports for internal stakeholders, identifying trends and supporting proactive ER strategies
  • Partner with external vendors to develop, deliver and track HCG compliance training programs, ensuring adherence to state-specific requirements and postings
  • Maintain and update firm policies, employee handbooks and agreements templates as necessary, including conducting research on market practices and benchmark of best practices
  • Monitor HCG related legal alerts to flag potential updates to policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal employment regulations
  • Manage the firm’s exit interview platform to capture, track, and report on employee exit data and feedback
  • Assist with audits, government surveys and other ad-hoc projects as necessary
