Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a systems or avionics engineering technical position
- 5+ years of experience in aviation systems engineering
- Experience with DoD acquisition processes and system engineering practices
- Ability to lead a small team of engineers
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering
Responsibilities
- Solve complex challenges and shape the F-35 by leading an engineering effort and team
- Design and develop systems
- Evolve systems with advanced technology solutions
- Share expertise through leadership and mentoring
- Merge systems engineering and acquisition knowledge to create innovations for the F-35
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with model-based system engineering
- Experience with Earned Value Management
- Possession of excellent organizational and project management skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aeronautics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
