Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of prior relevant experience as a facilities manager or related technical education.
Responsibilities
- Help carry out the department’s strategy in line with the overall company goals, budget, and long-term plans.
- Supervise engineering staff and maintenance teams, including setting priorities, providing feedback, scheduling, hiring, training, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Oversee guest service delivery to ensure it meets company standards and supports the brand.
- Make sure the building complies with all health, safety, and building regulations, and keep accurate records of all department activities.
- Track utility use and costs, keeping up-to-date logs as required.
- Manage and improve preventative maintenance programs, making sure all equipment is properly cleaned, serviced, and repaired or replaced when needed.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage purchases for tools, parts, and equipment to meet property standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of central plant operations, preferred.
