Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of prior relevant experience as a facilities manager or related technical education.

Responsibilities

  • Help carry out the department’s strategy in line with the overall company goals, budget, and long-term plans.
  • Supervise engineering staff and maintenance teams, including setting priorities, providing feedback, scheduling, hiring, training, and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Oversee guest service delivery to ensure it meets company standards and supports the brand.
  • Make sure the building complies with all health, safety, and building regulations, and keep accurate records of all department activities.
  • Track utility use and costs, keeping up-to-date logs as required.
  • Manage and improve preventative maintenance programs, making sure all equipment is properly cleaned, serviced, and repaired or replaced when needed.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage purchases for tools, parts, and equipment to meet property standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comprehensive understanding of central plant operations, preferred.
