Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, economics, finance, or related discipline
- Experienced idea generator, able to pitch ideas internally and externally
- Strong quantitative skills and programming ability
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
- Object Oriented fundamentals, design patterns, data structures and algorithms
- Good knowledge of design patterns with excellent problem-solving skill
- Strong self-motivation
Responsibilities
- Develop novel trading tools and analytics in a fast paced, real-time trading environment
- Demonstrate a thorough and detailed approach to quantitative modeling and software development
- Proactively identify appropriate user and business solutions
- Work as part of a team to deliver software solutions to meet customer needs
Preferred Qualifications
- MFE, MS in Computer Science, or other master’s degree in a related discipline
- Excellent core Java experience
- Strong SQL skills with experience in any of the RDBMS databases
- Angular and React UI development skills also including HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS
- Experience with Spring Boot, RESTful services, Java Messaging (MQ / JMS)
- Hands on software development experience working on Multi-tier, Web-based applications
- Working knowledge of Q/KDB
- Knowledge of Scala
