Requirements
- Must be a college student majoring in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
- Ability to speak and write fluently in English
- Possess excellent judgment, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Strong desire to learn
- In the process of pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
- A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is required
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to engineers engaged in electric utility field engineering within an operating region
- Assist in engineering for reliability and load driven projects
- Assist with field work and interface with other employee groups and customers
- Assist with computer modeling of the electrical distribution system
- Assist with other engineering related work, as requested
- Perform field visits under the guidance of qualified personnel
Preferred Qualifications
- A concentration in Electric Power Engineering is highly desired
- Preference will be given to students who have finished their Junior year
