Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry)
- 1+ years of experience in field service or as an end-user of diagnostic equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Travel extensively (90-100% travel), including multi-state visits and overnight stays, to support customers in the field
- Perform installation, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on tissue diagnostic IVD devices, including electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and software-driven systems
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network performance issues to minimize customer disruptions
- Provide preventive maintenance and train customers to maximize system performance
- Maintain clear, proactive communication with customers, internal teams, and management
- Ensure compliance with Agilent’s policies and complete administrative tasks (e.g., documentation, expense reporting) in SAP or other systems
- Offer technical feedback to product specialists and manufacturing teams regarding performance anomalies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agilent pathology solutions is a plus but not required
