Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a laboratory, plant-site (e.g., steel, refining), or maintenance role
- High-school diploma or other degree in chemical studies or related field preferred
- Familiarity with water treatment processing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service and results-oriented approach
- Robust analytical skills and business acumen
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after proper training
- Able to read and interpret instruction and safety manuals
- Hands-on and proactive working style
- Solid mathematical skills, capable of performing math operations in all units of measure, including whole numbers, fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages.
Responsibilities
- Install and service chemical feed and water treatment equipment
- Perform water analysis and collect samples
- Troubleshoot and repair pumps, instruments, and control panels
- Conduct preventative maintenance on chemical feed pumps, controllers, and instrumentation at designated customer sites
- Act as a technical consultant and liaison with customer management and technical counterparts
- Provide essential service and support to customers
- Offer knowledge and support to account managers on the company’s newest technologies for digitization and chemical feed and control solutions
- Ensure the operational integrity and excellence of water treatment systems through meticulous calibration of feed pumps and controllers
- Maintain feed rate charts and log sheets
- Manage inventory for spare parts, reagents, sample containers, and shipment containers for both routine and special sampling and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in chemical studies or related field preferred
