Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 10+ years of FP&A experience, with a strong focus on sales operations or SaaS business models
  • Expertise in financial modeling and analysis using tools like Excel, Adaptive Insights, Tableau, or Salesforce
  • Comprehensive understanding of SaaS sales metrics, revenue recognition under ASC 606, and forecasting methodologies
  • Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate sales metrics, including quota attainment, Sales Efficiency, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and Net Dollar Retention (NDR), to provide actionable insights
  • Own the Sales P&L, ensuring accurate forecasting, budgeting, and expense management in alignment with revenue objectives
  • Track sales headcount planning and productivity metrics, optimizing resource allocation for quota-carrying and supporting roles
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership and HR to evaluate the financial impact of sales incentive programs and compensation plans
  • Design and maintain dashboards for tracking sales KPIs, presenting insights to senior leadership, and driving accountability
  • Create financial models to assess the impact of sales initiatives, market expansion, pricing strategies, and other growth opportunities
  • Work closely with stakeholders in Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to align on business goals and financial strategies
  • Identify and implement process enhancements to improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial planning and reporting related to Sales

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a SaaS or subscription-based organization, with knowledge of sales compensation structures and quota planning
  • Familiarity with SaaS metrics and reporting platforms
