Requirements
- You are an experienced Finance professional with ideally a Marketing Finance background
- You have experience in budgeting, forecasting, business modelling and analysis; Accounting experience a plus
- You have had frequent interaction with senior management and other professionals, both Finance and non-Finance.
- You have experience in implementing effective processes and delivering projects independently
- You have a strong attention to detail and a dedication to data integrity
- Independent, self-motivated and enthusiastic, with good problem solving and analytical skills
- You are advanced in your skills in Excel, and have Powerpoint experience; Hyperion & Oracle experience strongly preferred
- You have an interest in learning new tools, processes and systems
Responsibilities
- Business partner and provide finance support to the Global Marketing team right up to senior leadership
- Lead financial planning process and monthly forecast including setting up timelines, templates and ensuring budgets are maintained, and latest business plans are incorporated.
- Perform month-end review, providing insight into variances and timing of spend changes. Drive deeper insight into the performance of the business by exploring the data in new ways.
- Communicate business performance to leaders both inside and outside the Finance organization, and the implications of that performance for future business decisions
- Improve cost visibility through the development of new reporting and strengthening end-to-end processes from plan development to invoice payment ensuring accurate, detailed spend tracking to guarantee we always have a handle on what we have spent.
- Work with Global Marketing team to manage incremental investments ask and cutbacks and ensure optimal capital allocation (ex. POSa reallocation)
- Further the understanding of Return on Brand Awareness spend (payback timeframe, testing results, impacted channels and implications)
- Numerous ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed, incl. the constant drive to improve & automate the reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- Accounting experience a plus
- Hyperion & Oracle experience strongly preferred
