Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance or equivalent (MBA or CPA preferred)
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience preferably within the wholesale sector and/or large distribution network
- Strong analytical skills and intuition for business with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data
- Proven ability to communicate and explain complex finance and operational issues to a diverse audience
- A change agent—having professionalized business processes and a team
- Maintain a high degree of emotional intelligence and stability working with a multitude of personalities and within a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, change, and a dynamic business environment
- Attention to detail and excellent prioritization and organizational skills under pressing time constraints
- Ability to develop collaborative relationships across various functional areas both internally and externally and influence at all levels
- Hands-on, “roll up the sleeves” and “get it done” demeanor who leads and works with others
- A strong presence and like-ability that encourages others to engage

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling

Responsibilities
- Use data and analytics to find opportunities for the business to improve productivity and efficiency, contributing to and facilitating profitable growth
- Anticipate the potential impact of change; develop adaptive strategies to allow the business to maintain its competitive edge and position as the “industry benchmark”
- Act as a catalyst between the business and Finance so there is synchronized thinking and understanding of information requirements, challenges and priorities
- Challenge and support business decisions with analytical rigor, insights, and judgments
- Develop and calculate metrics to facilitate and track key performance indicators
- Instill strong cost control and planning discipline while handling any divergence from targets through proactively developing solutions
- Lead multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and deliver high quality and timely results
- Balance long term business priorities with shorter term financial targets/budgets
- Partner with adjacent finance departments, field finance leadership, and other areas of the business (IT, Facilities, HR, etc.) as an advocate for the regional and market distribution centers, major ship hubs, and logistics
- Finance liaison for supply chain and the supported branch network
- Provide financial advice to the supply chain management team to ensure sound financial and operational decisions
- Provide solid analysis of supply chain performance on a monthly basis vs plan, prior year, and forecasts
- Lead and/or assist in performing ad-hoc analyses as requested to support savings initiatives, innovation projects, cost savings, and other special projects supporting the full brand portfolio
- Lead key strategic network optimization projects to enable growth, i.e. develop cases, provide analysis to support volume shifts that improve profitability
- Lead, coach, mentor and develop 1-2 direct reports at Financial Analyst and Senior Financial Analyst levels
