Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in finance operations.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with great attention to details.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and identify solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in NetSuite is required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other departments, including Sales & Marketing, R&D, Customer Experience, HR and Legal, to ensure alignment of financial and operational goals.
- Assist in the documentation of and compliance with financial controls to safeguard company assets.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support the company’s budgeting process, working with department heads to develop and monitor budgets.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports for lenders and investors.
- Maintain and track key SaaS metrics with the use of BI tools such as Domo.
- Assist in the analysis of financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Assist in managing relationships with insurance brokers.
- Support insurance renewals, ensuring adequate coverage.
- Assist in managing Certificates of Insurance (COIs) to customers and from vendors.
- Assist in managing vendor contracts, ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Support the procurement process, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adaptive Planning for budgeting and forecasting.
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Domo) for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software is a plus.
- Experience managing insurance programs and vendor contracts.
