Financial Analyst

Good written and verbal communication skills.
Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized, resourceful, and reliable.
Strong Excel skills (advanced functions like INDEX/MATCH, advanced Pivot Tables, and data modeling/intermediate knowledge of PowerBI).
Must be highly motivated, detailed-oriented, and possess strong analytical skills.
Possess the ability to manage larger datasets and complex reports with minimal supervision.
Bachelor’s degree in Data and Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
3+ years of professional working experience (preferably within a law firm or professional services).
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently.

Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights to management.
Take independent ownership of financial models and reporting.
Develop and modify reports, working with senior team members to incorporate improvements and refinements in templates and processes.
Assist with the reconciliation of financial data and ensure consistency and accuracy across the dashboard and other reporting tools.
Develop clear, insightful, and well-organized reporting documentation to ensure transparency and understanding of financial data across all stakeholders.
Assist in ensuring compliance with internal financial controls and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
Assist Finance/Accounting management with special projects. Assist with annual issues, as necessary.

Experience within a law firm or professional services preferred.
CPA and/or advanced degree, knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) are preferred.
Familiarity with financial software (e.g., Aderant, Elite, or similar financial systems) is a plus.
