Requirements

• 4 Year Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university.
• 0 – 5 years of experience in a field of accounting or finance, internship preferred if 0 years of experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a field of accounting (for Senior Staff Accountant).
• Previous experience as a Financial Analyst preferred (for Senior Staff Accountant).
• Ability to identify financial issues and propose resolution to management (for Senior Staff Accountant).
• Display the skills to operate and lead the department in manager absence (for Senior Staff Accountant).
• Act as a role model and provide guidance to staff accountants and clerical staff (for Senior Staff Accountant).
• Advanced spreadsheet/database/computer knowledge (for Senior Staff Accountant).

Responsibilities

• Assist Management with system implementations and testing.
• Prepare analysis for Management and external auditors for quarterly and Annual analytical reviews.
• Keep position procedure documentation up to date.
• Communicate with vendors and internal associates to answer questions and resolve issues, including reconciliation and auditing of company records.
• Investigate and analyze discrepancies and recommend issue resolution. Escalates as needed.
• Prepare and run various daily, weekly, and monthly reports; sort and distribute for use as necessary.
• Assist with Company projects as assigned. Expected to cross-train in multiple department positions.
• Develop reporting for internal or external use as needed.
• Demonstrate initiative in process flow and identifying efficiencies.
• Additional data analytic and compliance projects will be assigned as needed by management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship preferred if 0 years of experience (for general position).
• Previous experience as a Financial Analyst preferred (for Senior Staff Accountant).
