Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; and a CPA preferred
  • Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must have a working knowledge of balance sheet, income sheet, cash flow, and working capital analysis
  • Must be able to analyze financial results and assess financial impacts of business decisions. Demonstrated ability to think from both financial and business perspectives.
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; SAP and BPC is desirable
  • Knowledge of Food Ingredients or Corn Wet Milling industry (competition, business climate, manufacturing processes), a plus
  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; must be able to convey information to all levels of the organization in a clear, focused, and concise manner

Responsibilities

  • Assist with corporate financial planning and analysis as necessary, including, but not limited to results reporting, quarterly earnings package, and board of directors presentations
  • Ensure overall SG&A plan alignment with profit growth outlook
  • Bring discipline around SG&A spending and ensure external commitments are upheld
  • Provide headcount oversight/control
  • Assure ownership and accountability across the business
  • Coordinate creation of performance metrics, specifically surrounding Cost Competitiveness and Zero-Based Budgeting initiatives
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and manage the corresponding implementations
  • Assist with development of business process documentation for new processes
  • Develop credibility and build partnerships with key contacts within the regional finance teams
  • Develop collaborative and influential relationships with members of the Executive Leadership Team and the key leaders within their respective Corporate teams
