Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or related field
- Six (6) years of experience in performing reporting, analysis and financial modeling in a large and complex organization
- Creation and leveraging analytic, forecasting and modeling tools
- Creation and leveraging financial projections for scenario planning
- Serving as an administrator for a budget planning module, such as Workday’s Adaptive Planning
- Alternatively, a Master’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or related field, and four (4) years of experience in the four listed areas is acceptable
Responsibilities
- Functions as a Financial Consultant for the Financial Planning and Analysis team responsible for the development and maintenance of the resource allocation models used in the university budget process
- Provides guidance and training to less senior financial analysts on budget development and long-range planning efforts
- Collaborates with unit fiscal offices to analyze budget to actual performance and track strategic planning efforts for university-wide initiatives
- Participates and pro-actively engages in development of presentations for senior leaders, including the Board of Trustees operating budget and long-range financial planning presentations, as well as leading ad-hoc reporting requests.
