Requirements
- Minimum of 2 -3 years of related sales experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of sales / service experience is required.
- Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only.
- Completion of a college or university degree or equivalent related experience.
- Valid and active Life Insurance License (LLQP) or Insurance of person license in Quebec (1a).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to quickly build rapport and relationships with clients over the phone / video conferencing.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions to understand needs.
- Self motivated and have the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Proactively call existing Sun Life Group Retirement Savings plan members who are leaving or have left their employer retirement / savings plan to discuss the benefits of keeping their assets with Sun Life.
- Provide consultation to clients by providing investment and protection guidance related to their financial needs, including savings, retirement income and insurance.
- Create a risk assessment profile for wealth clients to align their investments to their desired risk tolerance.
- Keep abreast of product changes, understand new products that come to market, keep a pulse on industry changes and competitor products.
- Contribute to sales targets by meeting or exceeding objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 -3 years of related sales experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
