Requirements
- Food Safety Manager Certificate
- BLS certification required
- Bilingual: English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese depending on location preferred
- A minimum of two years’ experience working in any capacity in the Food Preparation department required; with the elderly population and their families preferably, in a community agency or health care setting preferred
- A minimum of one year of experience in leading kitchen services preferred
Responsibilities
- Coordination of all food services, including breakfast and lunch preparations, home meals, center snacks, and special events
- Overseeing the daily duties of the kitchen staff
- Maintaining records required for Food Safety and Sanitation, and Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)
- Ensuring that all food preparation meets the standards and regulations
Preferred Qualifications
